Artistic means (media and arts) are tools for personal, cultural and social development. Examples of artistic means are the usage of photography, theatre and writing as non-formal educational methods. In first instance you don’t use them to make highly artistic productions but you let people use it as a way, to think, react and act on a specific topic.
In this project it will serve both purposes. The diverse workshops given such as photography, creative text writing and journalistic writing are examples of where you use artistic means to come to a final result and where you challenge people to think, react and act on the topic. To engage people in this project and to make a book together the usage of artistic means is essential.

In different countries around the world many workshops will be given and under schedule you can read about last years workshops to give you an impression. At most places the general Loesje creative text writing workshop was given and takes around 2 to 2,5 hours. People wrote crazy things, had fun and expressed their opinions and if you believe it or not at the end the created many oneliners as you might know from Loesje.
